When joining Dancing with the Stars, Lauren Alaina obviously hoped to win the Mirror Ball Trophy. Well (*Spoiler Alert) She didn't. She came in a very respectable fourth place, with Hannah Brown of Bachelorette Fame winning. According to PopCulture she insists that she's just grateful that she made it to the finale.

The day after DWTS finale, Lauren and the three other finalists appeared on Good Morning America and talked about her new video "Getting Good" where she dances with her partner Gleb, whiles she's singing. "I wasn't much of a dancer before this show so, no, I never expected to dance to my own music video,"

Lauren is gong to be VERY busy in the foreseeable future. She will kick off her headlining That Girl Was Me Tour on Jan. 15, and will also join Blake Shelton on his Friends and Heroes Tour, which kicks off on Feb. 13. Plus she is dancing a few days of the Dancing with the Stars Tour. Not to mention, working on, the follow-up album to 2017's Road Less Traveled. The album will include her previous single, "Ladies in the '90s," as well as "The Other Side," which she wrote about the loss of her stepfather, Sam. You may remember she performed a beautiful contemporary routine to this song on DWTS.
